Carpetbags were created in the mid 1800s as a result of the
introduction of the railroads and the travel they inspired.
People needed large bags to carry their belongings so saddle-makers would buy old carpets and use the less worn parts to make bags.
My Carpetbagger collection was inspired by these bags and
features modern and classical designs. My bead encased snaps were designed especially for the Carpetbaggers and I include the tutorial in your purchase.

This is the pattern for the Carpetbagger inspired by Donna Kato's wonderful polymer clay beads and named after her.

Stitches used : two drop odd count peyote
Pattern includes large graph, bead index, pattern overview and word chart.
