Perfectly Paisley Carpetbagger Cuff PDF Pattern
Carpetbags were created in the mid 1800s as a result of the
introduction of the railroads and the travel they inspired.
People needed large bags to carry their belongings so saddle-makers would buy old carpets and use the less worn parts to make bags.
My Carpetbagger collection was inspired by these bags and
features modern and classical designs. My bead encased snaps were
designed especially for the Carpetbaggers and I will include that tutorial with your purchase.
This one is based on the classic design of paisley.
The pattern as given makes a cuff 1.75" wide
and 7" long.
The PDF file includes a pattern chart, graph and word chart along with tips about beads and closures.
