TUTORIAL Circus Spike with VIDEO CLASS
Circus Spike is designed to be worn as a pendant or used as a decorative ornament. It uses one of my hand made polymer spikes which are sanded and buffed for a natural shine. I have created three different spikes for this design, Gold, Silver and Zebra (black and white).
This very fun design uses peyote, ladder and herringbone stitches and is an 18 page fully illustrated step-by-step tutorial which also comes with a link to a 1 hour video class where you can bead along with me as I show you each step and give you tips and tricks along the way.
The pendant measures an elegantly slim 6" long and the splay of the 'dreadlocks' is 3" in diameter. The use of polymer and wire mesh top bead keep the design light and comfortable to wear.
I have created partial bead kits for this design which include the cabochon spike (no holes), the wire mesh bead and the embellishment beads. You just need to add Delicas and a 15/0 seed bead of your own choice. (So many variations are possible this way so you can really make it your own personal version). You can find the kits in my 'Kits & Supplies' section. If you don't see them please e-mail me so I can rustle one up for you.
You may sell items you make from my tutorial so long as you're not going into mass production. I do appreciate being given credit for the design. Please do not share, copy, sell, or otherwise distribute this tutorial as it is a violation of my copyright. I do not allow teaching of my designs without discussion and arrangement with me. If we all behave ethically the bead world stays a happy place.
