TUTORIAL Doodad #3 Pyramid Ornament
What the heck is a "Doodad"?? Well....it's a "watchamacallit" or a "thingamabob" or if we really want to get precise....
A fancy article or trivial ornament.
A gadget, esp. one whose name the speaker does not know or cannot recall.
So it may be a "trivial ornament" but it sure is pretty. Hang Doodads on your Christmas tree, make them into a mobile, string them to hang in a window or in a picture frame, from your rear view mirror....they are just fun to have around. Great to give as gifts for all those people who you can't give beaded jewelry to...you know the ones. And you can even be honest when someone asks what you're getting them...."oh...a Doodad" :)
This one is spiral shaped, wrapped around a little satin ball. It has a dangle and a beaded bead topper....all the best Doodads do!
There are three different Doodads....Cone, Spiral and Pyramid....if you want all three there is a listing for the set in the "Tutorial Sets" section of my store.
Doodads measure 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" in diameter and are 7" from top of loop to bottom of dangle.
Peyote stitch all the way, with step by step instructions to get you there....14 pages stuffed with illustrations. The tutorial comes in PDF format.
This tutorial is RTS and grants the purchaser permission to sell items made from it...with credit given to the designer (me) of course.
